The City of Homestead proudly invites the community to honor the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces at the 13th Annual Military Appreciation Day on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Losner Park.
Now in its thirteenth year, this family-friendly tradition is dedicated to recognizing the sacrifices and service of military personnel past and present. Residents and visitors are encouraged to come together for an evening of patriotism, gratitude, and community spirit.
Attendees can enjoy a variety of activities and special tributes, including:

- K-9 Show – Experience an exciting demonstration showcasing the skills and training of working dogs.
- Military Display Vehicles – Explore military vehicles and equipment up close.
- Letters to Military Station – Write heartfelt messages of appreciation to active-duty service members.
